Dawgs Drop Game 2 in Indianapolis

 The Dawgs 18U Black lost 8-0 vs Midwest MOB in game two of pool play and are now 1-1 in round robin play. The Dawgs managed to take the game into the 4th inning with the score tied at 0-0 before the MOB's bats came to life and put up 4 runs in the top of the 5th inning. The MOB would put up 4 more runs in the top of the 6th inning.

Despite the score, there were a couple of standout performances in the game. Will Undershute started the game on the mound and pitch 2.1 scoreless innings while striking out 2 batters. Infielder, Zach Rabe, went 1-for-3 with a double off the left-center field wall, while LaRon Smith also went 1-for-3 with a double off the left field wall.

The Dawgs have a double header today. Game 1 vs Kentucky Buccaneers is scheduled to start at 1:30 pm EST. Game 2 vs Evansville Leathernecks is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm EST.
